PETA 40TH ANNIVERSARY
PXL and Studio City collaborated in producing PETA’s 40th Anniversary Event virtual event. The team at PXL spearheaded the campaign, and took the lead with planning the attendee experience for the virtual experience, and the technical aspects of the 90-minute livestream. Studio City took the lead in producing the show itself, from inception to distribution and airing.
NURSES HOUSE
We reached out to the extraordinary women in Guilderland, NY, who run Nurses House, the non-profit that’s been providing financial assistance to struggling nurses for almost 100 years. In response to the pandemic, they created a special COVID-19 fund to aid nurses who might become infected and financially impacted.
Within 10 days, we designed a logo, augmented their website, launched a crowd-funding platform, produced multiple video and radio assets, and implemented a digital ad campaign. We then enlisted our PR team, Allied Global, to generate vital press, get the Nurses House execs booked on AM Radio talk shows nationwide, and get their client, iHeartRadio, to play our Nurses House radio PSAs on stations across the country. Nurses House was hoping to raise $500,000, but within two months of our first phone call to Nurses House, their Covid-19 Fund raised over $2.8 million. Nurses House was able to provide aid to dozens of infected nurses in need of financial support across all 50 states.
ONE COUNTRY PROJECT
To get out the vote in rural America, One Country Project reaches out to disenfranchised rural communities to rebuild trust and encourage voter participation. We created elevated paid media content for an expansive social media campaign from user-generated clips from diverse Gen-Z teenagers.
LA FAMILY HOUSING
PXL was honored to once again partner with LA Family Housing in an effort to raise money and help end homelessness. For their Home Together Live Virtual Event, we created a microsite where users could watch, chat, and donate to the cause in real time. The hour long livestream was produced by PXL using our talented graphic design and video production services.
The event featured LAFH advocates including Mayor Eric Garcetti, India Arie, Congressman Adam Schiff, Rams players, Sebastian Joseph-Day and Cooper Kupp, Ragean Revord, JD McCrary, Nury Martinez, Ed Helms, and Kristen Bell. The virtual fundraiser was a huge success, with LAFH exceeding their goals and raising over $250,000 for their organization.
CALIFORNIA HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION
As local communities were plagued with hospital closures and bankruptcies, the California Hospital Association partnered with Studio City PXL to help these vital healthcare institutions get the funding they needed.
We created an online campaign to raise awareness and motivate legislation through compelling interviews and hard-hitting facts. Starting with a Medi-Cal focused campaign, we championed the work that smaller hospitals perform to provide their community a lifeline. Then branching out into a larger campaign, we interviewed success stories of patients and caregivers whose lives have been enriched by the amazing work of California hospitals.
NEW YORK CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS
North America’s largest school system was facing three simultaneous, unprecedented challenges: Decreasing student enrollment and thus Federal funding, declining teacher recruitment, and unrest on city university campuses following the 2023 Middle East attacks.
A social and digital media campaign was needed to individually address each crisis. Working with educators and the Chancellor, Studio City PXL was honored to partner with NYCPS on a groundbreaking campaign designed to transform perceptions, elevate the brand, foster emotional connections, and assure New Yorkers their public school system had the knowledge, strategy and capabilities to respond to each crisis.
THE GREAT NEW YORK STATE FAIR
For the fourth consecutive year, The Great New York State Fair, one of the largest state fairs in the United States, entrusted Studio City PXL to lead the way on their content development execution, official website maintenance, and to develop an overarching social media and digital strategy.
SANTA MONICA MUNICIPAL WEBSITE
The City of Santa Monica needed an overhaul of their website to better serve their city. With over 500 pages of content for departments, destinations, applications, and services, they needed a website system that could be standard, accessible, and user-friendly. Our redesign features an entirely new home page, menu functionality, and over thirty page templates for all things Santa Monica.
